It’s time to appoint ASME's Freshman Representatives! Freshman Representatives, or FReps, are an essential part of the UT ASME Officer Team. FReps give a unique insight into how ASME can be more accessible and involved for first-year ME students. Furthermore, being part of the team is a great opportunity to build leadership skills, make great friends, and improve the UT ME community. This page is where you will find information about the application process.

If you are interested in becoming an ASME FRep, check out the description here. The application is just below and opens Monday, September 30th and closes Sunday, October 6th at midnight. Please submit all applications as a PDF to asme.utexas@gmail.com.

Once you have applied, interview invitations will be sent out. Interviews will take place Monday, October 7th to Tuesday, October 8th and will be with the Officer Team. Officers will then make final decisions on appointees on Wednesday, October 9th. Afterward, the FReps will be onboarded as full-fledged ASME Officers.
